EUROTEC is an Electronic Manufacturing Services company which is wholly owned by the MUSIC Group. One of its major customers is BEHRINGER (www.behringer.com), a multi-national Company that was founded 1989 in Germany. Uli Behringer, Founder and Chairman of BEHRINGER, shifted the production from Germany to China as early as 1990, way ahead of time. He relocated to HK/China in 1996 to oversee production quality, understand the Chinese culture and later manage the implementation of EUROTEC.

Over the last decade the MUSIC Group continuously invested in EUROTEC, which is based in Zhongshan (Guangdong Providence). Zhongshan is a well-developed city with great infrastructure and even hosts 5-star hotels. The factory location can easily be reached by ferry within 90 minutes from HK.

EUROTEC is a true model of quality and efficiency based on state-of-the-art systems such as ERP, MRP, Lean Six Sigma, DFT, FIFO etc. Its management team, which almost entirely comes from famous multi-national contractors, has established best-in-class systems but also a unique hybrid based on Western and Chinese culture. It is often referred to as “a German factory built on China soil”. Its 3.000 people live under excellent conditions, and the Company provides for example two independent canteens, an on-site clinic, a library and various sports facilities.

EUROTEC offers fully vertically integrated manufacturing services. The site competencies include electronics, wood and speaker fabrication, PCBA and system integration which provides customers with high quality, low-cost and short lead-time products. It is well connected to a large supplier base for basically all components such as metal, plastic, etc. The company has heavily invested in quality systems, stringent component life-cycle testing and even hosts a comprehensive UL-certified safety and EMI laboratory. The campus also provides full services such as prototyping, new product introduction, testing, certification and supply chain solutions. This unique combination of capabilities enables customers to realize increased savings and benefits as a one-stop solution and a single-site management.
